Lifelong Milford Journey: Tony was raised in Milford with his two brothers and sister. His father, Richard, started a business called Milford Barrel out of their home in 1972. Tony's mom, Norma, is the former owner of Visions Hair Salon where she came to know scores of people from Milford and beyond who came to her shop. Clients were not only friends but extended family.

A strong work ethic, respect, integrity, and humility are values that were instilled in him from his family.

Tony attended Live Oaks grammar school and Foran High School, where he played baseball and football, and then attended community college. He quickly joined the family business Milford Barrel. The business grew from his father's beliefs to take great care of customers and to thoroughly cultivate relationships.

Family: Family is not one thing, it's everything. Andrea, Tony's wife of 25 years, has worked in Special Education for Milford Public Schools for 30 years so their family knows the importance of having a solid, fiscally well-run school system that cares for the whole student.

Tony and Andrea met over 30 years ago when Andrea's family would spend the summers at Bay View Beach. They are the proud parents of Francesca, who is currently a PhD student in Counseling Psychology in New York City, and Anthony, a recent graduate of Fairfield University, with a bachelor's degree in finance & marketing and where he is continuing on for a MBA in finance.

Career: Professionally Tony has 35 year's experience at the family business Milford Barrel managing company employees, sales, contract negotiations, purchasing, and operations.

Commitment: As an Alderman Tony successfully advocated for public safety, including crosswalks on Woodruff Rd., establishing an ecommerce parking spot at the Milford Police Department and supporting adding police officers. He established the senior 55 and older developments trash reimbursement ordinance and supported Senior & Veterans Tax Relief. He established the demolition delay ordinance to protect historic preservation and preserved open space throughout the city of Milford. During this past budget session he prevented school closure by fully supporting the Board of Education Budget and he has sponsored a No-Tolls Resolution to the Board of Alderman.

Tony has engaged himself in the community by being a former Little League Baseball Coach, a member of the Milford Columbus Committee, a Milford Bank Corporator and a former Milford Hospital Corporator.
